Our Commitments

Proxis Développement: towards an integrated sustainability strategy

At Proxis Développement, we are progressively structuring our CSR approach in line with our growth strategy, across all our subsidiaries, in France and internationally.

  • La diversification maîtrisée des activités

  • L’intégration progressive de la chaîne de valeur pour des ingrédients robustes et innovants

  • L'internationalisation progressive.

Our approach is based on a long-term industrial philosophy:

  • Quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Transfer of expertise and professionalisation of industrial projects

  • Team stability

  • Regional roots and contribution to local development

  • Prioritisation of responsible sourcing

This approach forms part of an ESG roadmap already underway, going beyond mere regulatory obligations.

Our CSR governance is based on:

  • Group-level steering via an ESG committee

  • Operational implementation in each subsidiary

  • Progressive integration of ESG requirements

  • Monitoring of key indicators (emissions, energy, resources, safety, training, etc.)

Structuring our ESG approach at group level

Against a backdrop of growth and organisational development, Proxis Développement is anticipating regulatory changes. In particular, the CSRD, which will come into force as from the 2027 financial year.

‍

Structuring today what will drive our sustainable performance tomorrow

"
Over the past two decades, the Proxis Développement Group has been built on strong and continuous growth, rising from €20 million in 2004 to over €370 million today. Against this backdrop, we are progressively structuring our CSR approach.
‍
The CSRD is a significant milestone, but it was not the starting point for our thinking. Compliance is not our sole guiding principle. The CSR is first and foremost an operational and business issue for us, which we began addressing several years ago.
‍
Our clients expect concrete commitments. Our future ESG reporting is intended to be a tool for transparency towards our entire ecosystem (clients, partners, employees) to account for our commitments as well as our room for improvement.
‍
Our approach is part of a continuous improvement strategy, led by the Group ESG Committee, which is made up of passionate experts. We want to tell a clear story: how our four business divisions, and behind them our 50 business entities, contribute to health, sustainable industry and environmental protection."

Cécile Lamoulie
ESG Director of the Proxis Développement Group

Measuring our non-financial performance across the entire Group

"
CSR is no longer a peripheral initiative. It is becoming a structuring framework, drawing on both financial and non-financial data. In practical terms, this means that in the coming years, we will publish an audited ESG report, integrated into our management report, in the same way as our annual accounts. The challenge is clear: in addition to monitoring our financial performance, we must measure and document our actual impact, in line with the priorities identified in our double materiality matrix.

To achieve this, our approach is based on four requirements:
• Harmonising practices across the group
• Structuring data collection
• Ensuring the comparability of indicators
• Ensuring the reliability of published information

For a group like ours, with nearly 50 entities spread across four business divisions in Europe and internationally, this is a major step! "

Naoufel DJEHICHE,
Chief Financial Officer of the Proxis Développement Group

Building on our long-standing culture of quality management

"
We are not starting from scratch. The Proxis Développement Group already has a well-established culture of auditing, performance management through indicators and compliance, underpinned by our quality, HSE standards and our certifications.
‍
This maturity is reflected in several external accreditations:
• EcoVadis assessments, with Silver or Gold ratings depending on the entity
• SO 9001 certification, which attests to the robustness of our quality management system
• Specific environmental and safety certifications, such as ISO 14001 for certain entities or MASE certification.
‍
The difference today is the change of scale. With the CSRD, we are broadening our scope: beyond product or process quality, we are currently focused on measuring and managing our impacts on the climate, energy, water, workplace safety and responsible procurement. "

Carole Le Chevanton,
Quality Director of the Proxis Développement Group

Towards the decarbonation of our activities

Proxis Développement’s DNA is rooted in creating a positive impact across its sectors. However, our environmental responsibility rests first and foremost on reducing our own footprint.
‍
In 2024, we carried out an initial carbon assessment for our Sozio fragrance division across its three sites in France. Proxis Développement has now already begun consolidation work covering more than twenty of the Group’s business entities, with emissions calculated across the three scopes in accordance with the GHG Protocol methodology.
‍
Proxis will be able to publish its first certified group carbon footprint assessment during 2026.
